OUR ENSEMBLES

The right combo for every atmosphere

In jazz, a small group is called a combo: the sound of Manhattan's legendary clubs, where a few players with no script answer each other in real time. A combo reads the room, staying warm and low as guests connect, then swinging harder once the drinks start flowing.

From an intimate duo to a full-on quintet, we'll match the combo to your event, your guests, and the atmosphere you want to create.

DUOS

Piano & Bass or Guitar & Bass

Intimate, elegant, and endlessly conversational. Picture a candlelit wine bar on a quiet evening: two musicians leaving space for every note to breathe.

Understated enough for a quiet dinner, charming enough to make guests lean in and listen.

Best for:
Intimate dinners

Smaller gatherings

Tighter spaces

trios

Piano, Bass, & Drums

The heartbeat of jazz, and the sound you imagine when you picture a classic supper club. A gentle swing and a warm, full sound fills the room, without taking it over.

It's our most requested ensemble for cocktail hour - and for good reason.

quartets

Piano, Bass, Drums + Saxophone or Trumpet

Add a saxophone or trumpet, and the music starts to sing. It's the sound of a glamorous night out in an old movie.

Imagine a horn bringing melody, romance, and a touch of sparkle - it gives the room something to remember.

Best for:
Larger cocktail hours
Receptions
Elegant evening events

QUINTETS

Piano, Bass, Drums, Saxophone, & Trumpet

The classic sound of Miles Davis's legendary quintets: two horns weaving together over a driving rhythm section.

Rich, bold, and unmistakably
New York City, a quintet turns any event into a true occassion.

Best for:
Galas
Large receptions
High-energy celebrations

THE VOCAL COMBO

Add a voice. Keep the swing.

Some evenings call for a voice. A vocal combo brings the timeless songs of Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Billie Holiday to life: familiar melodies and lyrics that your guests love.

Add a vocalist to any of our combos, from an intimate duo to a full quintet and beyond. You get the same warm, room-reading atmosphere, now with songs your guests can sing along to.

THE BIG BAND

The golden age, reimagined.

18-Piece Jazz Orchestra with Vocalist

For the events that deserve something extraordinary. Our 18-piece big band brings the golden age of swing back to life, from the elegance of Duke Ellington's orchestra to the irresistible drive of Count Basie and the ballroom glamour of Glenn Miller. Roaring horn sections, a velvet-voiced vocalist, and a rhythm section that makes it impossible to stay seated. It's the sophistication of a bygone era, delivered with modern sensibility.

This isn't background music.

It's the moment your guests will be talking about years from now.
